At just under five kilometres, the opening time trial is not technically particularly demanding. Even the weaker time trialists should not lose too much time on the 1st stage in Vaduz. Nevertheless, every second counts from the moment the first rider starts. The stage will suit time trial and track specialists and they are the favourites to take the first leader’s jersey of the Tour de Suisse 2024.
